Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi may retire from one- day international cricket.
Sources have confirmed that he is dejected over his treatment by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), following media leakages of his differences with team coach Waqar Younis.
Afridi would be a regular player in the Ireland series after the PCB removed him from one-day matches captaincy and replaced him with Misbah-ul-Haq.
The PCB chairman, Ijaz Butt, had said that his place in the team is uncertain and he would have to prove his abilities to continue in the team,
The PCB had earlier sent a showcause notice demanding Afridi's reply for his comments on the team selection.
